There’s going to be a film based on “Medieval Times.”

The restaurant.

So, on the one hand, this kind of sucks because it confirms once and for all that film as a vital artistic medium is dead. Dead, dead, dead. Dead as disco. Don’t worry, TV and video games will take it from here. Actually, they already did more than a decade ago, but whatever, it’s fine. It was a good run.

On the other hand, I had a birthday at the Medieval Times a couple years ago and it was actually a lot of fun. In fact, I can say with confidence that it was the most fun I’ve ever had in New Jersey, just edging out that time I went to a really good diner and…oh, well, I guess that’s it.

I just hope the next time I go The Blue Knight isn’t such a choke artist.
